Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make history in Patna, Bihar, on Sunday, May 12, by hosting the city’s first-ever Prime Ministerial roadshow during a Lok Sabha election. This event marks a significant moment as PM Modi campaigns for former cabinet colleague Ravi Shankar Prasad, the BJP candidate from Patna Sahib constituency. Prasad, the former Union Law Minister, clinched victory in 2019 by a considerable margin against Congress’s Shatrughan Sinha. This time, Congress has fielded Anshul Avijit, son of former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, as the Mahagathbandhan candidate. With Sinha contesting from Asansol as a TMC candidate, the stakes are high as Patna Sahib gears up for voting on June 1 in the seventh phase.
