Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the opposition INDIA bloc of opposing women’s reservation and worsening women’s lives during their rule. Speaking in Varanasi, Modi criticized past remarks by Samajwadi Party’s Mulayam Singh Yadav and highlighted BJP’s efforts to support women. He also touted BJP’s schemes to alleviate poverty and inflation, while facing Congress candidate Ajay Rai in the upcoming election on June 1.
